About Me

Welcome to my professional website. My name is Aaron Haze, and I am a CompTIA A+ certified IT support technician based in Nokomis, Florida. I will complete my Associate in Science degree in Computer Information Technology at State College of Florida this December, and in January 2027 I will begin the Bachelor of Applied Science program in Information Systems Technology at Florida SouthWestern State College.

My path into technology has not been a straight line, and I consider that an advantage. I spent eight years in banking and mortgage lending, where I learned to protect confidential financial data, follow strict compliance rules, and meet deadlines that could not slip. As a migration specialist at Wells Fargo, I monitored enterprise account migrations, worked with PGP encryption and RSA authentication, and troubleshot failed jobs alongside infrastructure and security teams. That project showed me how much I enjoy the technical side of business, and it is the reason I returned to school.

Today I work in customer service for Good News Pest Solutions, where I use CRM and scheduling software every day to solve problems for customers who need clear answers quickly. Listening carefully, documenting accurately, and explaining technical issues in plain language are the same skills that make a help desk run well. I am now looking for an entry-level position as a help desk technician, IT support specialist, or desktop support technician.

This site is also my lab for the CGS 2820C Web Page Development course. Every page is written by hand in HTML5 and CSS3, without a website builder or template, and the site grows each week as I learn new techniques.

Career Goals

My first goal is to join a help desk or desktop support team where I can learn from real tickets and real users. While I complete my bachelor's degree, I plan to add a second certification, either CompTIA Network+ or Security+. Over the long term, I want to move into systems administration and information security, where my background in regulated financial environments will be a real strength. To learn more about the certification I already hold, visit the CompTIA website.
